Visit Report: Otakuro Park
This stroll-style Japanese garden was developed by Suginami Ward on the former estate grounds of music critic Motoo Otakuro, opening on October 1, 1981.
The garden showcases magnificent seasonal landscapes throughout the year, from cherry blossoms in spring and hydrangeas in early summer, to the spectacular autumn colors of ginkgo trees, zelkova, and red pine.
During autumn foliage season, special illumination events are held, allowing visitors to experience the colored leaves in a completely different atmosphere from daytime.
