Marunouchi KITTE opened in 2013.

On the 6th floor is the KITTE Garden, an open-air rooftop garden of approximately 1,500 square meters, where you can view the Tokyo Station building and the new trunk lines and trains that arrive and depart from the station.

The illuminated Tokyo Station, the well-maintained Tokyo Station Marunouchi Station Plaza, and the Marunouchi Building District are extremely beautiful, making KITTE Garden a must-see night view spot when you visit Tokyo Station.

Note that the use of tripods is prohibited in KITTE Garden, so please be careful when visiting the garden to take photos of the night scenery.

KITTE Marunouchi Former Tokyo Central Postmaster General's Office

The former Tokyo Central Postmaster General's Office is located on the 4th floor of Marunouchi KITTE, introduced above.

The interior of the former Tokyo Postmaster General's office from the 1930s has been recreated and is open for viewing free of charge.

The large window behind the desk offers a panoramic view of Tokyo Station.

Combined with the classical atmosphere, this is a wonderful night view spot where you can feel as if you have time-traveled back to the Meiji era.

Tokyo Station Marunouchi Station Square

Tokyo Station Marunouchi Station Square was fully opened in December 2017 after three years of development since 2014.

It is a popular night view spot where you can see the illuminated Tokyo Station building from directly in front of the plaza and where you can always see people taking commemorative photos with their smartphones and cameras.

The plaza is illuminated every winter season, so be sure to visit at the right time to take pictures.

On days after it rains, it is also recommended to use the puddles of water in the plaza to take reflection photos.

Gyoko-dori Avenue

Gyoko-dori Avenue is 190 meters long, connecting the Marunouchi Central Exit of Tokyo Station to Uchibori-dori Avenue in front of the Imperial Palace.

The beautifully landscaped path leads to the illuminated Tokyo Station, and the skyscrapers that symbolize Chiyoda Ward can be seen on either side of the path.

It is also a popular spot for wedding photos, and brides and grooms are often seen taking pictures in their dresses and tuxedos, both on weekdays and holidays.

Another major attraction is the variety of scenery that can be enjoyed throughout the year, with the fresh greenery dazzling from spring to summer, and the ginkgo trees turning yellow in autumn. The “Tokyo Michi Terrace” illumination event held in winter is also a must-see.

This is one of the few plazas introduced here where tripods can be used, making it an ideal place for night photography.

The terrace is a calm space in harmony with greenery, and is a recommended spot for a date or other time when you want to take your time and enjoy the night view.

The Marunouchi Building (Marunouchi Building), a 36-story complex, was rebuilt in 2002.

The observation space on the 5th floor offers a view of Tokyo Station, KITTE, and other buildings with a total length of about 335 meters.

Although it is a small observation deck, it is a night view spot where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery in a relaxed atmosphere.

It is recommended to drop by casually on a date or during shopping.
