Located on floors 47-52 of Toranomon Hills, the rooms offer panoramic views of Tokyo.

Tokyo City View is an observatory located on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills.

This is the most popular observatory in Tokyo, from a height of 250 meters above sea level, offering a panoramic view of the endless nightscape of Tokyo.

Azabudai Hills opened in November 2023.

It consists of several commercial buildings, and the main building, Mori JP Tower, is the tallest building in Japan at 325 meters, surpassing Abeno Harukas.

On the 33rd floor of Mori JP Tower is the Sky Lobby, an observation deck from which visitors can view the Tokyo cityscape.

The highlight is the view of Tokyo Tower in the southeast direction.

It is a rare spot where one can enjoy an unobstructed view of the entire Tokyo Tower.

Note that when it first opened, it was open to the public free of charge, but from April 18, 2024, it will only be open to visitors using the restaurant and café.

Shibuya Sky Shibuya Scramble Square Observation Deck

Shibuya Scramble Square opened in 2019. It is the tallest commercial facility in the Shibuya area at 229 meters above ground.

The observatory facility, Shibuya Sky, is located on the 47th and 46th floors and offers a panoramic view of the city.

The attraction of this building is that it offers views of the Shibuya scramble crossing, Tokyo Tower, and on clear days, Mt.

Note that the use of tripods is prohibited on the 47th floor, but there are no restrictions on the 46th floor, so if you want to enjoy a good photo shoot, use the 46th floor.

Yebisu Garden Place Observation Deck Top of Yebis

Yebisu Garden Place was created through the redevelopment of the former site of the Sapporo Beer factory.

There are two free observation spaces in the restaurant area on the 38th and 39th floors, offering views of the Tokyo cityscape.

Tokyo Sky Tree Observation Corridor & Observation Deck

The Tokyo Sky Tree is one of Tokyo's most famous landmarks.

Boasting a height of 634 meters above ground, the tower was certified by Guinness World Records in 2011 as the “tallest tower in the world.

The Tokyo Tower can also be seen from the observation deck, which offers an almost 360-degree view of the Tokyo cityscape.

Although the Tokyo Tower does not look large, it is very photogenic as it blends in with the Minato-ku cityscape.

Tokyo Tower Underground Parking Staircase

This underground parking lot is adjacent to the south side of Tokyo Tower.

Looking up the exit stairs to the ground level, Tokyo Tower appears in front of you.

If you have difficulty finding the location, we recommend that you try to access the site by aiming for “Tofu-ya Kai” (tofu shop).

Zojoji Temple

Zojoji Temple has a 600-year history and is well known as a temple of “winning luck” where the “Kurohonzon,” a secret statue of Buddha associated with Prince Ieyasu Tokugawa, is enshrined.

At night, the main hall of the temple can be seen towering above the vermilion Tokyo Tower at the foot of the tower.

Fuda-no-tsuji bridge pedestrian overpass

This is a night view spot where you can see Tokyo Tower, which often appears in dramas and movies shot on location.

Looking north from the pedestrian bridge over Route 15 (Daiichi Keihin), Tokyo Tower can be seen beyond Tokyo Route 301.

Tsukiji Bridge

The Tsukiji Ohashi Bridge connects the Tsukiji and Kachidoki areas.

It is the most downstream bridge over the Sumida River, offering an unobstructed view of the buildings in the Hamamatsucho and Shibaura areas.

The illuminated Tokyo Tower peeks out from between the buildings, making it possible to take pictures from a good distance.

Shinagawa Season Terrace

Shinagawa Season Terrace is a 144-meter-high skyscraper that opened in 2015.

On the second floor, there is a spacious green plaza created based on the concept of an urban oasis, where visitors can relax and unwind.

The main attraction is the artificial pond near the entrance to the plaza. On either side of the pond are rows of illuminated trees, from which you can see Tokyo Tower.

It is recommended to bring your camera close to the artificial pond to take reflection photos.

Rainbow Bridge promenade

Rainbow Bridge is a landmark representing Tokyo.

A promenade has been developed, allowing visitors to walk across while enjoying the view of Tokyo's waterfront.

There are two pathways, the North Route and the South Route, the former offering a beautiful view of Tokyo Tower.

The 1.7 kilometer long walkway can be crossed in 20~30 minutes on foot. There are multiple observation spaces along the path, so why not take a stroll and enjoy taking pictures?

Right under the Tokyo Tower

Built in 1958, Tokyo Tower has Japan's first full-scale nighttime observation deck.

The view from the observatory is of course wonderful, but the view looking up at Tokyo Tower from directly below is also a hidden view spot.

The sight of the illuminated framework floating in the dark night is truly fantastic and a must-see for photographers.
