Visit Report: Roppongi Keyakizaka Street Illumination
This illumination event takes place during Christmas season on Keyakizaka slope, right next to Roppongi Hills.
First held in 2013 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Roppongi Hills' opening, it has since become an annual winter tradition that locals and visitors eagerly anticipate.
The approximately 400-meter Keyakizaka slope sparkles brilliantly with blue and white LEDs that evoke a snowy tree-lined avenue, complemented by warm-toned LEDs reminiscent of candlelight.
At the end of Keyakizaka slope, you can also see Tokyo Tower, creating a view that truly embodies Tokyo's winter atmosphere.
The illumination runs from sunset until 11 PM, making it perfect for stopping by after a date night in the Roppongi area.
