Visit Report: Sunshine 60 Observatory Tenbou Park

"Tenbou Park," the observation deck on the top floor of Sunshine 60, reopened after renovation in April 2023.

This premier observation deck in Toshima Ward offers 360-degree views of Tokyo's cityscape from 251m (823 ft) above sea level.

Highlights in each direction include:

Northwest Ikebukuro Station area streetscape, Mount Fuji, Chichibu Mountains Southwest Toshima Ward Office, Shinjuku's high-rise district East Minato Ward area cityscape including Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge Northeast Saitama Prefecture cityscape

The facility includes a grass area where you can lie down and a cafe space, allowing you to relax while enjoying Tokyo's cityscape.

Additionally, the admission fee has been reduced from ¥2,000 (approx. $13) before renovation to ¥900 (approx. $6).

This is very reasonable pricing for a paid observation deck in Tokyo, making it much more accessible - a welcome improvement.

It's definitely worth visiting while shopping at Sunshine 60.
