The Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center, with its beautiful modern Japanese taste, stands across from the Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate) of Sensoji Temple.
Equipped with tourist brochures, public wireless LAN, and a foreign currency exchange office, the building also offers a free observation floor on the 8th floor to assist visitors to Asakusa.
It is not very high, but the view of Nakamise-dori (Nakamise Street) stretching from Kaminarimon to the main hall and the illuminated Tokyo Sky Tree is worth seeing.
The Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center is open until 20:00, but the observation floor is open until 22:00, so why not stop by on your way home from sightseeing in Asakusa?
