Kiyosu Bridge

Night View from Kiyosu Bridge (Chuo City)
Visit Report: Kiyosu Bridge
Kiyosu Bridge spans the lower Sumida River and is designated as a National Important Cultural Property.
It was completed in March 1928 as part of the imperial capital reconstruction project following the Great Kanto Earthquake.
The bridge was intentionally designed with delicate, feminine characteristics to complement the heavy, majestic, and masculine impression of Eidai Bridge.
From 15 minutes after sunset until 11:00 PM, the bridge is illuminated in pink, creating a beautiful nightscape to admire.
The surrounding area features beautifully maintained Sumida River terraces and multiple illuminated bridges, making it perfect for an evening stroll.
