Visit Report of Kiyosubashi Bridge
The Kiyosubashi Bridge over the lower Sumida River, which is also listed as a national treasure.
It was completed in March 1928 as part of the rebuilding of the capital after the Great Kanto Earthquake.
It is characterised by a design intended to be delicate and feminine, as a counterpart to the Eitaibashi Bridge, which is massive, grand and masculine.
From 15 minutes after sunset until 23:00, the bridge is illuminated in pink, offering a beautiful night view.
