The Yokohama Bay Bridge Skywalk opened in September 1989 as a memorial facility for Yokohama City's 100th anniversary.
This pedestrian-only observation facility extends approximately 320 meters along the lower section of Yokohama Bay Bridge from the Daikoku Wharf side.
Along the walkway, there are regularly spaced openings designed for camera lenses, allowing visitors to enjoy photography opportunities.
At the end of the walkway, you'll find the Sky Lounge, which features video presentations about the role of Shin-Honmoku Wharf and environmental initiatives, along with model displays.
The main highlight of this facility is the stunning cityscape of the Minato Mirai area visible to the west.
On clear days, you can even spot Mount Fuji next to Yokohama Landmark Tower.
The Minato Mirai skyline during twilight hours offers breathtaking beauty.
Please note that this facility is only open on weekends and holidays from 11:00 to 18:00. Nightscape viewing is limited to winter months only.
Bus Access Information
Since there are no train stations near Yokohama Bay Bridge Skywalk, access is limited to private car or bus transportation.
