Yokohama Hammerhead opened in 2019.
It's a large commercial facility built around the Shinko Pier Passenger Terminal, with cafes and restaurants on floors 1-2, and accommodation facilities on floors 3-5.
The 2nd floor features an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy night views toward Yokohama Minato Mirai.
While the view isn't spectacular due to the low height, the sight of Minato Mirai's iconic buildings lined up together is truly beautiful.
Luxury cruise ships dock at this facility several times a month, so timing your visit to coincide with their arrival can be worthwhile.
At the adjacent Hammerhead Park, the symbolic Hammerhead Crane is illuminated at night.
There's also a deck where you can leisurely gaze out at the sea, so be sure to stop by there as well.
