A 700-meter-long promenade runs along Kitamaru Park from Yasukuni Dori.
About 260 cherry trees, including Somei-Yoshino, are planted along the street, offering a vivid cherry blossom view in spring.
An annual illumination event is also held at night.
The sight of the cherry trees bathed in pink light reflected in the moat is truly fantastic.
In the middle of the greenway, there is the Chidorigafuchi Boat Arena, where you can enjoy the cherry blossoms from the water's surface.
