Visit Report of Asukayama Park
Asukayama Park is Japan's first park, opened by the 8th shogun, Yoshimune, for the enjoyment of the common people of Edo.
The vast park is home to around 600 Somei Yoshino and Satozakura cherry blossom trees, offering a magnificent cherry blossom viewing experience in spring.
They also hold a night sakura (cherry blossom) illumination event, so be sure to visit during the event period.
Additionally, right nearby is Onmu River Park, which also hosts an annual illumination event. Visiting both parks together is highly recommended.
