Visit Report of Roppongi Sakura Street
Roppongi Sakura-dori Avenue, planted with someiyoshino cherry trees planted at the opening of Roppongi Hills.
Decades after its opening in 2003, the rows of cherry trees have grown to cover the road, and in spring a spectacular tunnel of cherry trees can be seen.
An annual cherry blossom lighting event is also held at night, making it a great place to enjoy the city's cherry blossom scenery day and night.
Even when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the crowds are small and it's a good spot for a peaceful hanami experience, so be sure to visit.
