Wadakura Fountain Park: Access, Hours & Night View Guide
Wadakura Fountain Park

Night View from Wadakura Fountain Park (Chiyoda)
Visit Report: Wadakura Fountain Park
Located in a corner of the Imperial Palace Outer Gardens area, Wadakura Fountain Park was completed in 1995 to commemorate the Crown Prince's wedding.
The park features beautiful fountains, free rest areas, and a Starbucks (Imperial Palace Outer Gardens Wadakura Fountain Park branch). With excellent access just a 10-minute walk from Tokyo Station, it's charming how you can casually drop by after work.
At night, the illumination begins for the large fountain that shoots water 6m (20 ft) high and two medium fountains. The sight of the fountains glowing in brilliant colors under the lights is so beautiful you'll find yourself mesmerized.
The dazzling lights of Otemachi's high-rise buildings also create a stunning nightscape view. Despite being in the heart of the city, you can enjoy a luxurious moment of being soothed by the sound of water.
On calm days, a magnificent water mirror reflection forms in the park's pond, which is another highlight. The building lights reflect on the water's surface, creating a fantastical scene.
With its tranquil atmosphere, this nightscape spot is highly recommended for dates. Benches are scattered throughout, so you can sit and leisurely enjoy the night view.
Note that fountain and lighting hours are from sunset to 8 PM (9 PM in summer). Be aware that the fountains may not operate during strong winds.
