Visit Report of Suica no Penguin Plaza
The suica Penguin Plaza opened in July 2016 to coincide with the completion of the Basta Shinjuku express bus terminal.
It is conveniently located just outside the ticket gates of the new south exit of JR Shinjuku Station, and the NTT Docomo Tower to which it accesses offers views of Takashimaya Times Square and other areas.
Below you can also enjoy a view of the trains coming and going from Shinjuku Station and the moving scenery.
The plaza, which takes advantage of the difference in levels, is decorated with various types of plantings and wooden decks, and is lit by moderately bright footlights at night.
It is a very comfortable place to relax after work or a date.
