The Asahi Beer headquarters building in Asakusa, instantly recognizable by its iconic golden flame sculpture.

Located on the top floor (22F) is the "Asahi Sky Room," an observation lounge with stunning views along the Sumida River. The nighttime illumination of Tokyo Skytree, Sensoji Temple, and the bridges over the Sumida River, viewed from approximately 100m (328 ft) above ground, creates a breathtakingly beautiful panorama.

With a wide selection of drinks including Asahi Super Dry and light meals available, the excellent value of enjoying this panoramic view with just one drink order is a well-kept secret among those in the know. While it can get crowded around sunset, arriving around 9 PM or later often means smoother entry.

This is the perfect spot for sophisticated dates or to cap off an evening of exploration, where adults can quietly enjoy a drink while taking in the beautiful night views.

Since 2003, nightly illumination has been implemented every evening, allowing visitors to enjoy scenery enveloped in tranquil and fantastical light that completely transforms from the daytime bustle. Since most shops on Nakamise-dori close around 7 PM, evenings are relatively less crowded, making it appealing to calmly explore the temple grounds.
